What is your role?

My role as president is majoratively an overseeing role to ensure the smooth running of the club and make sure every exec member is coping well in their role. Through liasing with the student union and its warwick sport division, overseeing committee meetings and being a main point of contact for the club. Essentially I help ensure a bump free running of the club to help maintain high performance and achievement.

Hi, I'm Eesha, and I'm this year's Vice President. As Vice President, I act as the alumni and fresher liaison and organise some of the club's events like our Christmas Dinner and Hockey Ball. I also support Lorna, our President, in making decisions that benefit both the club and its members.

Hi, I’m Millie and I’m Treasurer for this year! I’m going into my second year studying Management, and I play for the 3s. My role involves managing the club’s finances, organising budgets, sponsorships and payments, and working with the rest of exec to make sure everything runs smoothly. I’m really looking forward to helping make this season a great one, both on and off the pitch!

What is your role?

Hi, I’m Tianne and I’ll be the 1st XI Captain this year. My role involves leading the team on game days, working closely with our coaches on team selection and admin, including team sheets and logistics. Keeping the team motivated and morale high during the season so we are in the best position to excel and hit our goals as a performance team. Additionally, I’m focused on fostering positive environment with regular team socials to help us build a strong team culture on and off the pitch.

What is your role?

Hi, I’m Holly and in the captain of the 2XI hockey team. My role mainly consists of organising and managing teams for matches along with doing all the admin that come with that, including being a point of contact between the league, coaches and players. Additionally, I am in charge of organising team specific socials and creating a welcoming and fun environment for everyone. I can’t wait for another season with the 2s ☺️

Hi, I'm Bella and I'm the 3rd XI captain. My role consists of selecting the squad for BUCS and Saturday league matches and organising the admin alongside that. Alongside this, I am responsible for organising team socials and creating a supportive and welcoming environment for everyone. The 3s are a super fun team and I'm excited for another season with this team.

Hi I’m Lucy, I’m a second year history student and your 4th team captain for this year! I’m so excited to lead the 4s as an inclusive and friendly hockey team, welcoming of all abilities. My role is to support the team at training, organise occasional friendly matches and team socials. As the clubs development team we’re great if you’re a complete beginner, someone hoping to improve your hockey skills or just looking for a casual sport alongside your degree. Hey, I’m Nerea and I’m one of the social secs for this year! I’m going into second year, I study History and Politics and currently play for the 1st XI. My role involves ensuring club integration off the pitch and making sure that everyone has a super fun time. I can’t wait to see everyone and have a great year.

As Welfare, I’m here for anything you might need – whether it’s a hockey related concern or just a little chat. You can count on me to listen. I run regular welfare drop-ins and socials to give everyone space to unwind and meet new people. On and off the pitch, I’m a friendly face you can come to at any time. My role is to help keep UWWHC a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can enjoy their time at Warwick and make loads of new memories.

As charities sec I am in charge of all of the charity events that take place over the year, working towards raising money for a local and national charity. Some events include our Charity Tournament, the Christmas Charity Quiz and other events in Charity Fortnight!

As comms, I run the club social media accounts, most actively on our Instagram (@warwickwomenshockey) and manage this website. I serve as the first point of contact for the club through dms and email, alongside making sponsorship and fresher packs for prospective sponsors and freshers navigating uni for the first time. I also post weekly and termly calendars so all our members stay updated on the socials/training/events happening in the club. I also get to capture memorable moments at circle on our private club Snapchat for everyone to look back on the next day.

Hi I’m Deeya, the tour secretary this year. My role involves planning both the domestic and international tours which are amazing opportunities to have some fun outside hockey training and bond more with the club. I’m super excited to surprise everyone with the location for dom tour and hear everyone’s guesses!!

Hi, I’m Amy, the Match Secretary for this year. I currently play in the 1XI team and am really looking forward to the year ahead. I’ll be organising kit and stash orders, as well as arranging umpires for our matches and helping members become qualified through the online course.
